After several years exploring Dalmatia, we finally bit the bullet in 2018 and purchased our own tiny corner of this stunning part of the world.
Apartment Beth is ideally located for a peaceful break on the edge of Okrug Gornji, on the Island of Čiovo, just a stone’s throw away from a beautiful bay, Mavarčica, with stunning views across to the central Dalmatian islands of Šolta and Brač. On clear days the island of Hvar and peninsula Pelješac can also be seen.
Within easy reach are the stunning old town and UNESCO designated Trogir, the remarkable Diocletian’s Palace in Split, Šibenik with its stunning and unique cathedral and beautiful ports such as Marina and Rogoznica where wealthy sailors moor their boats for lunch or dinner in one of the many quayside konobas. Wonderful daytrips can be enjoyed to Krka falls, Plitvice Lakes, the Blue Lagoon, Zadar – the list is almost endless.
The apartment is named in memory of our beautiful daughter Beth, who we tragically lost in January 2015, which adds poignancy and purpose to our investment in this beautiful place.
